Congratulatory Messages

A request can be made for a congratulatory messages to be sent to residents of the Cottesloe electorate celebrating their 100th, 105th (and every year thereafter) Birthdays, and couples celebrating their 50th, 60th, 65th, 70th or 75th Wedding Anniversaries.

We do not receive any information about Anniversaries or Birthdays from government records. 

Anniversaries and/or Birthdays are acknowledged by messages from the following:

100th, 105th Birthdays (and every year thereafter)
Diamond (60th), 65th, 70th and 75th Wedding Anniversaries

• The Queen
• The Governor-General
• The Governor of Western Australia
• The Prime Minister
• The Premier of Western Australia
• The State Leader of the Opposition in Western Australia.

Golden (50th), 55th Wedding Anniversaries

• The Governor-General
• The Governor of Western Australia
• The Prime Minister
• The Premier of Western Australia
• The State Leader of the Opposition in Western Australia.

Messages from The Queen will arrive via the Governor-General’s office in Canberra.

To arrange a message for a relative or friend, you need to download and complete the Application Form, include copies of the relevant Birth or Marriage certificates and send them to:

Please arrange for this paperwork to arrive at least 4-6 weeks in advance of the Anniversary or Birthday (belated messages may also be arranged).
